The Jars parted ways with their long time home base of Augusta, Ga as well as parting ways as a full time acoustic duo in late October of 2011. Andy Colbert, lead singer /songwriter and Trey Pitts “Master Shredder” lead guitarist both now reside in opposite sides of North Carolina. Trey now attending Elon Law school in Greensboro calls Andy who now sits atop a mountain in Asheville, begging him to bring the musical magic back together. Andy meditates on this for a second then hang glides back to civilization and makes it happen like a true playa does. The music is in their blood much to thick now and no ties to educational or personal responsibility can replace it. The shows must go on, the people must dance and the beers must flow. Though the boys are thoroughly enjoying their new homes as well as looking forward to their upcoming shows through out the Carolinas, a home town show at Metro Coffee House and Pub will always be a welcomed jolt of energy. Much love to the fans in Augusta, Ga and we will be seeing you soon!
